FAQ
Is this beginner friendly?
Yes, it absolutely is! Everything is geared towards novice photographers who want to keep things simple without sacrificing quality in their images.
I do talk a bit about camera settings but I promise I make it as painless as possible. 😁
Do I need a fancy camera?
Your camera doesn't need to be fancy but, ideally, you should be able to change the settings on it so you can get out of auto mode.
What if I have a small space?
I am operating under the assumption that people taking this class are working out of their home or workspace-- NOT a big professional studio. So, a small space is not a problem here.
Can I use my phone?
You definitely can, although you will get more out of the class if you have a DSLR or mirrorless camera. AND you'll get better images. (Don't your products deserve that?)
Do you go into artificial light?
No. We only work in natural light in this class. However, I do offer another class that is entirely focused on artificial light and, while it's aimed at food photographers, it's also great for product photographers.
How long do I have access?
You have access for as long as this course in in existence.
What is the refund policy?

Hi, I’m Clare Barboza—professional photographer for over 25 years, with the last 15 focused on food.
