Poppy Bee was built by two people who believe that raising women up isn't optional — it's everything. In every workshop we run, every photographer we feature, and every dollar we spend, we are choosing whose side we're on.
Words are easy. Here’s what we’re actually doing.
WE DONATE.
We make a fixed monthly donation to the Global Fund for Women — regardless of how sales are going. It’s not tied to your purchases. It’s not a campaign. It’s a line in our budget, every single month, that goes to an organization putting money directly into the hands of women-led grassroots organizations in 176 countries.
WE FUND A SEAT AT EVERY WORKSHOP.
Every workshop Clare runs includes one fully funded scholarship seat for a woman who couldn’t otherwise afford to attend. Same experience, same access, full participation. Applications are open — you can apply here.
WE AMPLIFY WOMEN INTENTIONALLY. Whose photographs we feature, whose work we share, whose businesses we send our community to — we make those choices deliberately. We are not the only voice in food photography, and we use ours to lift up the voices that deserve more reach.
WE PARTNER WITH WOMEN-LED BUSINESSES.
When we have a choice about who to work with, collaborate with, or recommend — we choose women-led. It’s one of the simplest and most direct ways we can put our values into practice.
A NOTE TO THE MEN IN OUR COMMUNITY: We see you. Many of you are already doing the work — championing the women around you, listening more than you speak, using whatever platform you have to make space for others. We’re glad you’re here, and we think what we’re building is for you too. Because the world we’re working toward is better for everyone.
