A 21-Day Food Photography Challenge

(REGISTRATION OPENS 11/9)

starts december 1

ends december 21

access until december 31

Registration opens on November 9 and closes December 3. All recordings disappear from your challenge dashboard after December 31.

One subject. 21 days. A whole new way of seeing.

Ever take a food photograph you absolutely LOVE...and have no idea how you managed to pull it off?

Here's the thing: great food photographs don't just happen. They're the result of creative decisions about light, composition, color, styling, and more.

And you can learn to make those decisions, too!

Welcome to The Photo Lab, a 21-day food photography challenge where we'll explore what makes a photograph WORK, one fun, bite-sized experiment at a time.

No elaborate setups or hours of homework. Just 21 days of playing with photography, learning to see things differently, and discovering how to make photographs you love (and actually understand WHY you love them).

➡️  REGISTRATION OPENS 11/9

So, how does this work?

For 21 days, I'll photograph the same subject, focusing on just ONE thing each day.

The light. The composition. The props. The colors. The shadows.

You'll see how dramatically these small decisions can change a photograph, and then you'll get to try each technique yourself. (And no, you don't have to photograph the same subject every day. That's just what I'm doing!)

Along the way, I'll share some of my own early photography mistakes, what I've learned since, and a few things I wish someone had told me when I was starting out.

here's what you'll get

• 21 SUPER short video lessons: One new lesson each morning, demonstrating a different creative technique.

•21 easy creative experiments: Fun, hands-on assignments you can do with your camera or phone. No fancy equipment required.

•Real-world lessons from my career: A peek behind the scenes, including some of my early photographs and the things I'd do differently today.

•Daily emails: A little inspiration and a direct link to each day's lesson.

➡️  ALL FOR $27.

(Registration opens 11/9)

is this for you?

This challenge is for you if...

• You love food photography and want to get better at it, but aren't quite sure where to start.

• You've taken some photographs you're really proud of, but wish you knew how to get those results more consistently.

•You feel reasonably comfortable taking pictures with your camera or phone, but want to understand more about light, composition, and styling.

• You want to have FUN with photography without signing up for an enormous course or adding another big commitment to your life.

➡️  If you're already an experienced food photographer with a solid understanding of lighting, composition, and styling, this is NOT for you. This challenge is designed for people who are still building those foundations.

21 days. One shared experience. And a little deadline to keep us moving.

Here's the deal: this isn't one of those online classes you buy and then promptly forget about.

We're doing this together!

The challenge kicks off December 1, with a new lesson arriving in your inbox every morning through December 21.

Miss a day? Have a busy week? No problem. All the lessons will be waiting for you in your challenge dashboard through December 31.

But here's the important part: When December ends, so does your access. The recordings won't stay in your dashboard forever.

Why? Because I want you to actually DO this thing. Not add another class to your ever-growing list of things you'll get around to someday.

A few minutes a day. A little creative experimenting. And 21 opportunities to learn something new.

➡️  REGISTRATION OPENS ON NOVEMBER 9, closes December 3 and, once we're underway, enrollment is closed until the next round.
